ABOUT JON BURKART

As a Management Analyst with the San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments, I oversee the operation and expansion of our regional e-bikeshare program,\"GoSGV,\" which provides residents of the San Gabriel Valley with affordable access to e-mobility devices through extended rentals and point of sale vouchers. I am primarily responsible for grant management, policy design and implementation, and stakeholder engagement undergirding the GoSGV program. I also provide project support the Measure M Multi-Year Subregional Program (MSP) for the San Gabriel Valley, manage the SGVCOG Regional VMT Mitigation Tool, and serve as Staff Liaison for the Transportation Committee. At Pomona College, I studied Public Policy Analysis with a concentration in Politics and focused my research on the intersection of transportation history and policy. My undergraduate senior thesis, for which I was awarded the Russell M. Story Prize in Public Policy Analysis, examined several explanations for the outsize presence of professional services staff in Los Angeles County\'s transit capital project delivery.
