Able to assess machinery to meet standards, directives and third-party audit processes. Experienced in producing high quality, in-depth Technical Documentation, Reports and Operation and Maintenance Manuals for large complex production and process machinery from a range of industries including Petrochem, PowerGen, Nuclear, Defence, Food Processing and Pharmaceutical. Having a mechanical engineering background spanning almost 40 years, with an understanding of EC & I components, design procedures and drawings. During the Covid Pandemic, Jon formed his own ATEX consulting company, advising clients how to conform to the many directives and standards, helping them achieve both self-certification and EC Type Certification through a Notified Body.
