I\'m an award-winning software developer and entrepreneur from Texas, best known as the creator of OpenShot Video Editor, a free, open-source video editor used by millions of people and translated into over 70 languages. I’m passionate about building user-focused, creative tools and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with open-source software.My recent work explores the intersection of AI and real-world applications - developing large language model (LLM) integrations, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems, interspecies language models (crow-tools), neural networks for self-driving cars, and character-based AI inside Minecraft (CreatureChat).
