About Jonathan Zimmerman

As an Attorney and “Case Starter” at Scott+Scott, I primarily am responsible for identifying, investigating, and initiating complex federal securities class actions on behalf of individual and institutional shareholders. I am also involved in shareholder derivative actions and other complex commercial matters. I am currently licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and am admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and the District of New Jersey. Before Scott+Scott, I was an Associate at The Weiser Law Firm in the suburbs of Philadelphia.I received my Bachelor of Commerce degree in Entrepreneurship and Global Strategy from McGill University\'s Desautels School of Management in Montreal, Canada and my J.D. from Temple University\'s Beasley School of Law in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where I was also a member of the International and Comparative Law Journal. Prior to entering law school, I spent the early part of my career in New York, developing and implementing multi-faceted communications programs that drove critical business objectives and helped C-Suite clients achieve their goals. As the Director of Business Development and Strategic Communications at Adaptive, Inc, a market-leading solution provider in the data governance and metadata management industry, I leveraged my unique skill and experience in the provision of strategic marketing communications to align Adaptive\'s marketing initiatives with its business strategy. Before Adaptive, I was an Associate at The Dilenschneider Group, a leading privately held public relations and crisis management consulting firm serving global corporations and their executive management teams. My key responsibilities included problem or opportunity identification and assessment, strategic analysis and planning, message development, tactical ideation, communication program design and implementation, strategic repositioning, event planning and networking, and client relationship management (including direct CxO level interaction).A native of Westport, Connecticut, I now live on Long Island and am an avid sports participant and fan.
