ABOUT JONNY LOWNDS

I am a highly motivated, confident and enthusiastic graduate with a passion for the Hospitality Business. In my first establishment, I successfully worked my way up to supervise the restaurant before moving onto higher education to further my qualifications. I began a journey within education in this sector and, as part of this; I worked and lived at Walt Disney World Resort, Florida, for my placement year. At the end of my placement year, I began working for the Hilton Hotels whilst continuing my studies. I have excellent people skills and genuinely enjoy interacting with guests. I feel that I can handle challenging and busy environments with ease and manage myself and others to achieve excellent standards of customer service. In my year’s placement in Orlando, Florida, I gained significant and broader cultural understanding. The year I spent in America left me with a desire to explore further afield and led me to undertake a working holiday visa within Australia where I continued my journey with the Hilton Hotels. After being in Australia for 9 months I was successful in my application as a J1 Hospitality Intern at Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek which I completed in April 2015. I later returned to the U.S. in 2016 and have continued my career with Hilton Hotels and Front Office Management.
