ABOUT JONNY GUTMAN
A Brooklyn transplant now firmly situated in LA with over fifteen years of experience in the entertainment industry. I have worked with leading companies and talent to sell and produce across all platforms and genres, but with one common thread: passionate creators and compelling stories. As the Vice President of Original Series at IDW Media, I oversaw the development and production of live-action films and scripted series for streaming and cable, while also collaborating with the publishing division to identify and adapt comic book and graphic novel IP. As Senior Director of Longform Programming at Funny Or Die, I was able to work across TV, film and digital and help put together and develop premium comedy programming. Before that, I was a TV Literary and Packaging Agent at WME, where I represented writers, directors and producers in the scripted and unscripted space. There I also packaged and sold shows and facilitated the creative and strategic collaboration between clients and partners. I am passionate about storytelling and storytellers, and I strive to deliver high-quality, original, and engaging programming that both entertains and inspires audiences.
