ABOUT JON C. MCNUTT

Jon McNutt represents hospitality, higher education, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, transportation, gaming, entertainment, financial services, and many other industries in all aspects of employment and labor law. His practice primarily involves traditional labor on behalf of management, including union campaigns, collective bargaining, defending union grievances, arbitrations, representation cases, and unfair labor practice charges before the National Labor Relations Board.Jon also counsels employers on a wide variety of employment and labor issues, including employee terminations, workplace investigations, management training, reduction-in-force planning, and conducts wage and hour and employer practices’ audits. Jon also has broad experience and knowledge in federal and California individual privacy regulations pertaining to sensitive personal information and data, including HIPAA, the California Consumer Protection Act, the Consumer Privacy Rights Act, and the California Consumer Records Act.He also has a thriving litigation practice, including the defense of employment-related claims such as wrongful termination, discrimination, workplace harassment, and wage and hour claims.
