ABOUT JON GRIFFIN

For over 30 years, I have been producing innovative and engaging live events, performances, and theme park attractions. As technical director, I am capable of pulling together all the technology, hardware, software, and physical components to deliver a unique experience. Some of my notable projects have included: I led the technical direction and audio/visual system installation for the Making of Harry Potter attraction at Warner Brothers Studios Leavesden in the UK. Part of this project includes a new US patent-approved projection show for the attraction lobby. As Technical Manager for Universal Studios Hollywood, I directed all entertainment events within the theme park. In addition to coordinating functions for 8-10 area managers and up to 30 vendors, I also established AutoCAD standards, a comprehensive Process Tree, and employee training opportunities. During my time as Technical Director for the historical The Theatre at Ace Hotel, I cut electric costs by two-thirds with LED technology and increased event bookings with additional audio/visual system upgrades.I recently finished the design and installation of all audio, video and control systems for The Warner Bros. Studio Tour -The Making of Harry Potter - Tokyo, spending 8.5 months living in Tokyo.
