I joined through the 2022 Analyst Program in Retail Cards and have grown into roles that sit closer to the strategy side of how retail lending works.The work is largely about translating data into decisions — understanding how a portfolio is behaving, where the risk is, and what levers actually move the needle. Tools like SQL, Python, Excel, and Tableau are part of the day-to-day, but the more interesting challenge is usually framing the right question before running any analysis.My degree is in Psychology (with a Commerce minor) from UBC — an unusual fit for banking, but one that shapes how I think about borrower behaviour, decision-making, and strategy design.Happy to connect with others working in retail banking, credit risk, or data-driven strategy.
