Mentoring High School students from Milwaukee area schools including MPS and promoting interest in science, technology, and engineering utilizing the FIRST curriculum.Working with groups of diverse, cross-functional mentors in the fields of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, software engineering, industrial design, public relations, graphic arts, STEM education, and project management to guide student lead teams in developing mobile competition robotics platforms on the scale of 120lbs and 5ft tall.Key projects lead include: holonomic motion control, coordinated motion 3 axis robotic arm, PID position and speed control, automated autonomous driving algorithms, sensor design, targeting/tracking systems, and fire control/safety systems.Additionally volunteered in support of the Wisconsin Regional FIRST Robotics Competition and Midwest Regional FIRST Robotics Competition in the areas of Field Setup, Robot Inspector, Score Keeper, Scorer, and Control System Advisor (CSA).
