I help organisations become excellent customers of technology.My work focuses on building the structures, skills and behaviours that allow organisations to set direction, control outcomes and get real value from their technology partners — rather than being led by them.Most of my career has been spent working alongside senior client and supplier teams, shaping how they engage, make decisions and deliver together. I specialise in strengthening organisational control by clarifying strategy, defining operating models, and establishing governance that enables delivery instead of slowing it down.Most recently, as Programme Director at Lincolnshire County Council, I led the client-side transition of a major IT service from incumbent suppliers to a new strategic partner.
