About Jonathon Cooper

I am a determined individual that always strives on being the best at what I do. I love to learn new ways of accomplishing jobs as well as way to improve myself. I plan on continuing on my education to be able to achieve bigger and better things in the aerospace field. However, I really enjoy running CNC machines and operating mills and lathes. It is that side of the industry that I want to learn as much as possible about. One day I want to be able to design 5-axis machining for complex parts such as blisks, blades and vanes. To me that is the most interesting part of the industry and I want to know more about it.

   Work within GE Aerospace Evendale Manufacturing Organization as a Model Based Manufacturing Strategy Leader/Programmer. As the MBM Stategy Leader, I work within a NPI/New technology team to drive standardization across our business in utilizing IPMs, MTKs, and CLM to maintain the digital thread from engineering part model through the manufacturing of the components and and engine modules.
