I’m a cybersecurity focused IT professional currently building hands on experience in a federal enterprise environment while working full time at SAIC supporting users under the United States Marshals Service contract. In my current role, I work with enterprise systems and security-focused tools including Okta, Active Directory, Zscaler, BeyondTrust, and ServiceNow to troubleshoot identity, access, and connectivity issues. This experience has given me a strong foundation in identity and access management, secure remote access, and enterprise IT operations. Through this work, I’ve developed a strong interest in cybersecurity particularly in Security Operations (SOC), identity security, and threat detection. I’ve also begun gaining exposure to SOC environments through shadowing opportunities, where I’ve been learning about incident triage, alert investigation, and security monitoring workflows. I’m currently focused on continuing to build my skills in: • Security Operations & SIEM fundamentals • Identity & Access Management (IAM) • Network and system security concepts • Incident response and threat detection My goal is to transition into a cybersecurity role where I can contribute to protecting enterprise environments and continue developing as a security professional. Actively developing toward opportunities in Security Operations (SOC) and entry-level cybersecurity roles. I’m always open to connecting with others in cybersecurity and learning from those already in the field.
