I also lead a team of 50+ staff responsible for shipping, import/export, customs clearance, warehouse operations, logistics, and special events / VIP visits. I was recognized by the White House for my support of the recent visit by Senator Chris Coons to Ethiopia.As a Watch Officer in the 24/7 Operations Center, I assisted Americans overseas during crises, and provided day-to-day direct support to the Secretary of State and other Department principals.Previously, I served as a Consular Officer in Vancouver and General Services Officer in Port Louis, Mauritius - where I managed the staff responsible for day-to-day operations of the Embassy, including motor pool, facilities, shipping & customs, and procurement.
