I love working with great people on exciting projects, and I\'m thankful for plenty of opportunities. I have experience in both design and development as well as numerous supplier and customer-facing roles. I\'m passionate about user experience and would be excited for a role that allowed me to help form great products or services, perhaps with a top tech company. Software:* Two decades of embedded software experience, primarily in automotive and aerospace across prototype, design, test, and production. Additional work in web and mobile apps. Passionate about applying the best of architecture and UX to make “just right” products that delight the end user and meet the goals of the OEM.* Years of experience with C and HTML/CSS, and some experience with C#, Kotlin, Swift, Python, Ruby, LabView, JavaScript, jQuery, SQL, VueJS, Agile, and TDD in Linux, Windows, web, mobile, and WindRiver/GreenHills RTOS. My favorite software development methodology book is The Pragmatic Programmer. Hardware:* Some embedded hardware knowledge like circuit layout and typical lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers. Personal:* My wife and I work with couples and singles to help build strong relationships and happy lives using simple concepts and skills from proven relationship research. We are also writing a book on this topic, and are helping my father launch his series of kid\'s books.* My wife and I have a community house which means we share our living space with 3-4 young people who we consider to be friends and family.* I love to travel and have been around the world for my job, for fun, and to help build low-income housing in Mexico and Tanzania.
