ABOUT JON PRENDERGAST IENG CMGR

My previous experience was in military medical equipment with 22 years’ experience managing the maintenance and repair of numerous mechanical and electrical equipment ranging from component level up to platform systems. I have worked for the last 3 years in Ops and Plans on deployments such as Operation Gritrock to Sierra Leone and the next deployment due out soon. Prior to this I spent many years working as an Electronics Technician progressing through an apprentice scheme repairing a multitude of electro optical and mechanical equipment ranging from clear optical binoculars to night vision and thermal imaging laser range finders. I hold a First class (Hons) degree in Electronic Systems Engineering backed up by qualifications in Project Management and Health and Safety. I am a motivated innovator, who enjoys responsibility by setting and achieving high standards, working well on my own but also getting the best out of any team. I feel that my skillset are ideally suited for engineering management/project/facilities management having gained both Incorporated Engineer and Chartered Manager status.
