ABOUT JONATHAN LEE HOW CHEONG
Jonathan Lee is the Co-Executive Director of More Transit Southern Ontario (MTSO), an advocacy group dedicated to improving public transit across the region. Passionate about equitable and reliable transportation, he leads MTSO’s efforts to push for better transit policies, service expansions, and infrastructure investments that put riders first. Jonathan’s leadership is focused around engaging people to make their voices heard in front of politicians and transit agencies for better transit networks across the province.One of his key advocacy efforts includes the push for the More GO Buses campaign started since October 15th during the start of the first \"Transit Action Week\" across Canada led by Environmental Defence. His initiative aims to enhance regional transit connectivity and provide residents with more reliable bus routes options. Jonathan has also been involved in broader campaigns calling for improved service reliability, expanded transit frequency, and better integration between municipal and regional transit networks.At Urban Minds, he contributes as a 1UP Senior Graphic Designer, using visual storytelling to support youth-led projects that reimagine cities.
