About Jonathan Kurowski

Currently the VP of Strategy & Corporate Development for Vantage Elevator. I have responsibility for leading the evaluation and execution of both organic and inorganic potential growth opportunities. Organically, I support strategy development for new business initiatives and execute on key operational value creation and growth-oriented projects. Inorganically, I manage the acquisition process, from sourcing and diligence through to integration. My experience includes more than two decades in engineering, consulting, strategy and mergers and acquisitions across several industries, including elevators, environmental and industrial services, finance, and aerospace and defense. I have B.S. degrees in electrical and biomedical engineering from the University of Rhode Island. Prior to my current position, I operated as a Senior Director of M&A at Schindler Elevator focused on M&A opportunities within elevator contractors across North and South America.Previously I worked as a Director of Investment Banking for Global Industrials clients, focused on Environmental and Industrial Services at Barclays. Successfully grew from Associate to Director with the responsibility of leading the origination, business development and execution of transactions throughout the sector and across product offerings.Before that I worked as a Project Manager / Business Analyst within Barclays\' Investment Bank integrating the Lehman and Barclays investment banking operations, improving business processes and managing strategic firm initiatives. I broke in to the finance world by operating as a Capital Markets focused consulting analyst for Accenture running short term operational and technical integration projects. Immediately out of undergrad, worked for Raytheon as an Electrical Design Engineer within the Ship & Torpedo Electronics division.
