An alternative investment advisor and investor specializing in hedge funds and other private investment opportunities, Jonathan is also the founder and principal of the separate law practice bearing his name. Both practices operate exclusively on a trusted referral basis. Jonathan’s background is broad and deep. It includes senior legal, strategic, and operational management roles on Wall Street, in Europe, and offshore in the investment advisory, asset management, insurance, internet strategy, and government sectors. As an entrepreneur, he has also been a founder and manager of various early-stage entities, and his board experience includes numerous directorships and advisory roles in the corporate and not-for-profit arenas.In addition to his involvement as General Counsel and the primary legal advisor to multiple public companies and their boards, Jonathan has served as Outside Counsel and a strategic advisor to a variety of start-ups across multiple business sectors.A sought-after speaker and author on emerging legal and governance issues affecting corporations and their senior leaders, Jonathan has served as a Practicing Fellow at Columbia Law School’s Millstein Center for Global Markets and Corporate Ownership and is currently a Guest Lecturer at the University of Miami’s Herbert Business School.
