ABOUT JONATHAN KESSLER

I study how language shapes what people know and believe across cultures. I\'m completing my MA in Intercultural Communication at Utrecht University, where my thesis compares how different Wikipedia language editions frame the same conflict.Currently, I\'m on an internship at the OECD, working within the Capital Markets and Financial Institutions division, where I work on policy communication.Previously, I worked in creative marketing and digital communication, leading social media campaigns and content strategies for public figures, tech startups and NGOs. I learned how to translate complex ideas into content that crosses cultural and linguistic borders. My background is in philosophy, which means I tend to think about the assumptions behind the message, not just the message itself. I\'ve built international experience through academic exchanges, living abroad and working in multicultural teams. I\'m drawn to organizations working on global cooperation, multilingual communication and the question of how we communicate across difference.Fluent in English, German and Hebrew. Still working on my French.
