   The Chromatography Forum of Delaware Valley was founded in 1965, with the purpose of educating, informing and bringing together scientists interested in separation methods. The Forum meets each month from September through June at locations in the greater Philadelphia area. These technical dinner meetings bring members and knowledgeable speakers together in an informal setting to discuss current topics in chromatography. The meetings also include open problem-solving forums and poster sessions and provide an opportunity to meet and share experiences with colleagues from other organizations in the area. In addition to the monthly meetings, the Forum sponsors short courses and organizes symposia and workshops at technical meetings and conferences. CFDV also sponsors several annual awards, both to practicing chromatographers, in recognition of their contributions to the field, and to local students, to encourage the study of chromatography.
