Cleenol is an independent private family owned and run company which can trace its roots back to the early 1700s. The company manufactures an extensive range of cleaning and hygiene products. In addition to chemical products under the Cleenol brand name, Cleenol manufactures for some of its customers under their own brand names and can also formulate products for specific requirements.• Overall responsibility for the Technical Department and on-site laboratory, leading a team of 7.• Responsible for ensuring Cleenol’s formulated products are in compliance with all relevant chemicals legislation (UK/EU REACH, CLP, BPR, CPR, and global equivalents).• Submission of product notifications (EU Poison Centre Notifications (PCNs), Irish PCS dossiers, EU Cosmetic Products Notification Portal (CPNP), UK Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS)).• Regulatory and technical approval of product labels for professional only and consumer product requirements in countries of sale.• Autonomously developing, implementing and managing comprehensive standard operating procedures and process flowcharts to continually improve working efficiencies of the Technical and interrelated departments.• Leading training sessions, enhancing the regulatory and technical knowledge of colleagues.• Identifying the necessity for, and overseeing, the formulation and reformulation of new and existing products.• Responding to customer / internal enquiries of a technical nature.
