ABOUT JONATHAN CALABRESE

20 years of experience in public accounting and business advisory services advising complex corporate companies in Atlantic Canada on transaction related services including M&A strategy, transaction diligence, and complex accounting. Experience in the energy and utilities industry assisting corporations in multiple valuation and transaction advisory engagements, the preparation and review of risk management accounting policies, financial instruments and hedge accounting implementations.Leadership roles in IFRS conversion assignments in energy, utilities, and consumer business organizations. Advising companies in Atlantic Canada on a wide variety of transaction based services including due diligence, business valuations, financing, public filings and the application of accounting standards. Recently involved in multiple engagements on sell-side diligence and transaction advisory; debt offerings; buy-side due diligence; business valuations; a public offering; and a number of corporate finance strategy and M&A advisory engagements.
