As a mentor with MET Mentoring, I support up-and-coming marketers by sharing practical advice, industry insight, and encouragement to help them grow their confidence, careers, and commercial thinking.This volunteer-led programme connects marketing professionals across all levels to create meaningful, one-on-one mentoring relationships. It’s a fantastic way to give back to the marketing community - especially during a time when many early-career marketers have faced real challenges in progressing.I’ve had the opportunity to work with mentees on everything from career planning and stakeholder management, to refining strategy and building their commercial acumen. It’s a two-way relationship - I’ve learned just as much from my mentees as they (hopefully) have from me.Proud to be part of a growing community of nearly 300 marketers who are supporting each other to learn, grow, and thrive.
