At the Sanofi AI Center of Excellence, I work within Digital R&D, supporting researchers in the pre-clinical stages of therapeutic development. The center focuses on advancing AI-driven solutions to accelerate the development of new medicines, using cutting-edge technologies to improve efficiencies across the drug discovery pipeline.Specifically, I work within the unstructured data search team, where we develop and apply machine learning models to analyze complex, unstructured scientific data. Our team works to uncover insights that drive target discovery and optimize the synthesis of formulations. My work includes- Developing advanced AI models, including transformers, graph neural networks, and large language models, to mine and analyze unstructured data for therapeutic breakthroughs- Using AI-driven tools to assist chemists in making more informed, data-driven decisions, enhancing both the efficiency and precision of their work- Leading cross-functional efforts to create actionable representations of complex biological data that support the discovery of new therapeutic targets.In addition to my technical work, I mentor junior team members and collaborate with stakeholders across departments to ensure the alignment of AI models with Sanofi’s strategic goals. By maintaining a calm and strategic approach, I guide teams through complex challenges, ensuring a balance between scientific rigor and innovative AI solutions.
