About Jonathan Blaisdell

I was born and raised in San Diego, California. While earning my bachelor’s and master’s degrees from UCLA and CSUSB respectively, I lived in the Russian cities of Saint Petersburg, Moscow, and Vladivostok. Next I spent time living and working at a couple of think tanks in Washington, D.C. After conducting research and enjoying some horseback riding in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, I taught many pupils in various national security programs domestically and abroad. I also wrote news reports for a national broadcast news network and then went back to teaching briefly at a few public and private campuses – Roosevelt International Middle School, High Tech High School, and Education First. More recently I have been working as a paralegal for boutique law firms. Now I am looking to forge a new path in America\'s finest city.

   Manage a high volume of cases from inception through settlement for multiple attorneys. Compile information for discovery responses. Organize documents for e-discovery production. Obtain public records. Extensive legal drafting. Communicate with clients and schedule appointments including Microsoft Teams and Zoom meetings. Calendar arbitrations, deadlines, depositions, hearings, and mediations. E-file for Superior, Appellate, and U.S. District Court cases both civil and bankruptcy. Prepare for trial. Support other departments and legal teams with accounting, estate planning, corporate, probate, and transactions. Improve case processing efficiency via database management. Tend to all miscellaneous administrative matters e.g. greeting visitors, phones, restocking supplies, banking, couriering documents, and mail.
