About Jonathan Berenguer
Passion driven director of educational services and entrepreneur who has gained years of experience working in different capacities in higher education and in NYC public schools over the past 11 years. Has been involved in educating young minds for 17 years. Experienced motivational speaker having spoken to student groups in NYC, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, Boston, and Georgia. Traveled to Uganda, Africa and Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to provide food, clothes, toys, and hope to children. Has experience in teaching, counseling, and administration. Co-founded By Your Side Tutoring in 2009 and has since implemented various programs within the company that has serviced thousands of students in the Bronx; predominately serving Hispanic and African American communities. In 2017, he founded 1JB Inspires as a means to provide empowerment seminars to schools across NYC.
