Still, as always, pursuing my life goals: 1) to help people and communities and leave the world a better place and 2) to be a key contributor to solving this generation\'s challenges. Currently consulting under the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency\'s $1.9 billion Community Change grant to support community-based organizations in their applications for, and management of, environmental justice grant-funded projects. Also continuing as founder of Red Tail Legacy Partners, LLC, which organizes young adults in strategically-located rural communities with embedded career development services, so that the next generation is prepared to win economically while politically defeating the neo-Nazis here in America today. Aligned experiences included working as an Assistant Director in the Ohio Department of Education\'s Office of Career-Technical Education supporting communities across Ohio in the application for and management of federal career-tech grant funds and before that more than 20 years leading an entrepreneurial nonprofit community redevelopment initiative pursuant to the $100 million U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Round 2 Urban Empowerment Zone grant that I secured for Columbus, Ohio. As the former long-time leader of a successful, comprehensive community and economic development initiative, I am a proven organizational leader in multiple areas of public interest. I have demonstrated expertise in strategic planning and management, systems change and advocacy, group process facilitation, personnel management, budgeting and budget management, project management, and program evaluation. I have expertise in economic development, real estate development and finance, business finance and credit evaluation, strategic planning, and organizational development and management. In this role, I advocated to Congress during budget negotiations and analyzed the impact of the package of federal Empowerment Zone tax incentives, including providing testimony to the Select Revenues Subcommittee of the House Ways and Means Committee. Past work experiences include private sector experience in federally-regulated oil, natural gas, and electric industries; serving as principal in consulting firm providing services to state and local governments and nonprofit organizations; and in depth involvement in State of Ohio Medicaid reform.    Working as a Lead Technical Assistance Provider under contract with EnDyna, providing support for applicants to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency\'s $1.9 billion Community Change Grant. Current clients include cities, universities and community-based organizations from Vermont to Arizona (E-W), and Michigan to Louisiana (N-S). Expert at interpreting Notice of Funding Opportunity and helping distressed communities define, refine and strategically position their concepts on environmental justice, climate action and pollution reduction to maximum scoring in nationwide competitive grant application cycle. I develop grant application workplans and secure additional technical assistance from subject matter experts in areas ranging from stormwater management, to green infrastructure, air pollution mitigation, and solar grid engineering, as needed. Grant applications range from $1 million to $20 million each.
