I\'m a multi-time founder who is currently building SmarterDumbphone, an AI assistant for flip phones that lets you search the internet, chat with ChatGPT, get directions, read your email, manage your calendar, and more, all over text. My wife switched to a dumb phone last year to cut down on screentime, but she kept running into situations where she really needed a smartphone or laptop when she was out and about. She couldn’t get directions, check Google Maps for open/close hours, look things up, see her calendar, get an emailed confirmation code, or open links people texted her.So I built her a simple app that lets her text about the things she needs (directions, info from her calendar, answers from ChatGPT, summaries of links) and get text-based answers. It helped her so much that we decided to turn it into a real product to share it with other dumbphone users, and now it\'s live at
