About Jonathan Zuniga
As an undergrad, I studied Environmental Design and utilized that education during my first professional position as a Construction Supervisor for Habitat for Humanity. In overseeing many houses at one time I learned many of the construction details and practices involved in residential design, management and construction, and general construction as a whole, and in managing crews ranging from 2-20+ people on certain days, overseeing all aspects of the home building process and being involved in layout and editing of different construction plans and documents, I developed Construction Management skills which served as a solid foundation for my management abilities once entering the Commercial Construction industry. Other routine processes such as working alongside the director of construction and clients, managing subcontractors, and communicating and coordinating with city officials and inspectors to ensure QC and compliance with city codes and regulations has allowed me to truly be immersed in the processes and has only provided for enrichment in my knowledge and abilities for the Commercial industry over the last decade plus.In my current position as a Senior Project Manager/Consultant, I utilize all past experiences, along with my Architectural Degree, to best serve and perform for clients and to continue on in my understanding and development of the ever-changing details, processes, means and methods, and technology of the fast-paced commercial construction industry.Specialties: Project Management, Consultancy, General Construction knowledgeTechnology: AutoCAD, Autodesk VIZ, Revit, Sketchup, Navisworks, Adobe Creative Suite, Bluebeam, Plangrid, Procore/Construction Management Software, Microsoft 365 Suite
