Hailing from Maryland, Jonathan recently began his latest role with Active Pro Rehab Partners in September 2021 as the Director of Talent Acquisition. Brushing off traditional norms that can often bog down the workplace, Jonathan prides himself on creating an environment where the day job instead feels like a second family by engaging with the Twin Boro’s community of physical therapists. With Jonathan at the helm, the staff knows who they are as a company, as a team, and more importantly, why they’re New Jersey’s number-one physical therapy company. On average, therapists have been with the company for twelve years, proving stellar employee retention. Jonathan’s vision is to continue to shape this environment where employees can not only feel comfortable, but to thrive. To Jonathan, Active Pro Rehab Partners is the perfect size: small enough that the CEO will know your name, yet large enough to give every employee a sense of stability, organization and upward mobility. “My goal is to grow Twin Boro’s outstanding workforce to serve our clients at the highest level.” With a BA in Business Communications and a Professional in Human Resources certification (PHR), Jonathan’s background is diverse yet rock steady. Previously Jonathan worked at Pivot Physical Therapy, where he was responsible for recruiting 150+ clinics in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, DC, and northern Virginia. He went on to serve as part of the Clinical Excellence team there, leading discussions with clinic directors throughout the mid-Atlantic about retention and human resource related topics. This experience led to him perfecting his technique in both developing and shaping company culture. “I pride myself on my emotional intelligence and the connections I’m able to make with an ever-changing workforce.” With eight years of experience in recruitment – the majority in the healthcare industry –Jonathan has also worked with government agencies, including DHS, DOD and the intelligence community, by supplying them with IT contractors. His best asset? His hiring and retention strategies. From a talent acquisition standpoint, Jonathan has been key in leading the company’s growth, and ensuring clinical excellence on the team. In his down time, Jonathan loves spending time with his growing family. Being family-oriented is not only telling of what type of man that he is, but is also reflected in his ethics and conduct at work.
