ABOUT JONATHAN WEBB

My background is in traditional sculpting and animation. I worked in the past for a variety of different companies including the Jim Henson Creature Shop, Cosgrove Hall Films, Aardman-Lucas Films, Mackinnon and Saunders and A+C. I\'ve have worked on a wide variety of projects in many capacities including sculptor, puppet maker, prosthetic makeup artist, character designer, storyboard artist and stop motion animator.My credits in stop motion include Bob the Builder, Postman Pat and Roary the Racing Car and I\'ve also been fortunate enough to work with Ray Harryhausen on a production called Odysseus-The Legend as a character and creature designer.I\'ve also worked with the hyper realist sculptor Ron Mueck, while at Henson\'s and also on an independent production, sculpting and building puppets. My freelance work has also led me to working on a range of advertising projects, including working with Neil Gorton (Dr Who creature effects) creating caveman and alien prosthetics.Most recently I have been updating my skills and working in digital sculpting with ZBrush as well as drawing storyboards with Toonboom Storyboard Pro and much of the ZBrush work is shown here.
