Represented the site in all Engineering interactions with the HSE. Addressing previous improvement notices. Through a risk-based approach to solving historic HSE regulatory issues and presented these to the regulator.(MATS and MATTE)• Accountable for maintaining regulatory compliance for the COMAH Sites, including DSEAR (CompEx-14 Certified), LOLER, PUWER, LEV, Legionella and PSSR. • Drove Safety Culture by leading by example, measured through Zero LTOIs whilst in role. • Successfully Delivered All Small – Medium CapEx Projects (£5 Million. • Devised and implemented a formal Engineering Policy and Controls. Including a new Maintenance Strategy and Engineering Inspections Policy.• Rolled out a new CMMS across 3800 assets, devising a Planned Maintenance Strategy to reduce operational downtime. Utilising SFG 20 and BS 55001.• Lead the Engineering function to conduct Reliability Availability and Maintainability (RAMs) assessments to drive asset reliability and optimisation.• Mentored the team to utilise Technology to validate reliability using Motion Amplification, Vibration, Ultrasonic and Acoustic Tools.• Coached teams to conduct RCA, FMECA, and Fault Tree Analysis studies to ensure risks are known and mitigated.• Developed a culture that enabled the team to step away from Corrective Maintenance by focusing on Planned Maintenance and Route Cause Analysis.• Implemented Predictive Maintenance culture through empowering the use of Condition-Based Maintenance tools.• Created an automatic report utilising PowerBi emailing the leadership team providing reporting transparency on MTBF and MTTR.• Followed ISO methodology to create an Asset Criticality Matrix to enable Maintenance costs to be applied to the correct assets, which were critical business needs. This resulted in a revenue increase of 15% and a decrease in overall Engineering Op Ex Spend and Spare Storage.
