Leading a highly experienced team inspecting samples of products from prospective suppliers to ensure they meet the required specification. These are checked against technical / CAD drawings or existing reference samples. Accuracy and attention to detail are critical. Responsible for the test and development workshop along with the extensive fleet of test vehicles. Responsible for allocating and prioritising tasks appropriately ensuring optimum productivity and efficiency for both the quality assurance inspectors and the workshop staff. Monitor and report on team / individual performance against efficiency standards / KPI\'s. Ensure adherence to proper operations and procedures so as to remain compliant with ISO 9001 quality, best practice and health and safety standards. Provide training on inspection processes and use of all measuring equipment as well as the use of the JBT-6 alternator and starter tester for staff along with programming of base level test parameters for all newly introduced alternators and starters.
