About Jonathan Vaughn

With over a decade’s experience as a project manager and mechanical engineer focused on Department of Defense and federal civilian projects, I currently serve as Regional Global Practice Manager for Aviation & Federal of Burns & McDonnell’s Mid-Atlantic Region. My work has entailed extensive existing facility condition assessments, culminating in six months of work for AFCESA to assess 450 buildings across six air bases. In addition to my condition assessment work, I have also been the project manager for multiple tasks for the Department of Defense and the Department of Justice, as well as overseeing mechanical engineering efforts related to other DoD agencies. During my time in the industry, I’ve also enjoyed a variety of HVAC, ranging from programming charrettes to facility condition assessments to the full design of DoD facilities. As a licensed professional engineer with nearly a decade of experience in engineering and project management, my experience has included a considerable amount of work within the federal, DoD and Intelligence Community market sectors. I’m also a LEED Accredited Professional Specialties: MEP, Sustainable Infrastructure, Facility Assessment, Operations Facilities, Condition Assessments, Comprehensive Energy and Water Master Plans, Engineering Intensive Projects, National Design Policies
