ABOUT JONATHAN. TURTON
A Chartered Accountant (2001) and Financial and Commercial Adviser for 26 years, Jonathan is the leader of Arup Advisory Services in the North Region, providing services in Energy Transition, Asset Management and Operations, Innovation, People and Organisational Change, Procurement and Programme and Project Management in the built environment. He is responsible for commercial performance (P&L), growth of the business, governance, operations and people across 8 Arup offices from Sheffield in the south to the north of Scotland and Northern Ireland. Prior to this role he ran Advisory services in North-West and Yorkshire (4 offices). Prior to that he jointly ran the Business and Investor Advisory team within Arup, leading the Transport and Social Infrastructure Sector for the UKMEA region. Jonathan is authorised by the FCA and is the FCA Compliance Officer for Arup Corporate Finance.Before joining Arup in May 2018 Jonathan spent 20 years at KPMG, the last 5 as a Director within KPMG’s Corporate Finance Infrastructure Advisory Group. Based in Leeds he had responsibility for the IAG team across the north and the Transport Major Projects business nationally, advising on high profile projects like Mersey Gateway, Leeds NGT, Manchester Metrolink and the Silvertown Tunnel for TfL.
