About Jonathan Torres

As a Sports Coordinator at West Babylon Community Youth Center, I manage the daily operations and programs of the gym, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for the youth and the community. I also coordinate with other staff and volunteers, and handle the budget, inventory, and equipment of the gym. I have been working at the youth center for over seven years, and I am passionate about promoting physical fitness, wellness, and social skills among the youth. In addition to my work at the youth center, I am also a member of ALPFA, Inc and NSHSS, two organizations that support the academic and professional development of Latino and high-achieving students. I participate in various events, workshops, and networking opportunities offered by these organizations, and I learn from the mentors and peers who share my interests and goals. I am also a current student at Hofstra University, where I am pursuing a MBA in Business Administration and Management, with a focus on project management and operations. I have completed multiple certifications in web analytics, advertising on Facebook, and Bloomberg Market Concepts, and I have acquired skills in Facebook Ads, Google Analytics, and digital marketing strategies. I am eager to apply my skills and knowledge to the field focusing in operations and project management sectors and to contribute to the growth of organizations.
