I started in energy management consultancy, supporting large commercial businesses to decarbonise their operations. A few years in. I got really excited about the use of technology, machine learning and AI to accelerate the change we needed to see, so moved into a product role. Since then I\'ve led product at a number of energy, efficiency, net zero, data-centric start ups and love helping early stage companies figure out what they should build. In the depths of a COVID lockdown, I built a web-based marketplace as a side project. It was called Carbon Culture, and it helped organisations find the products and services they need to achieve net zero emissions. After some early traction, I sold the business to a large industry player. I\'m currently Chief Product Officer at Yottar, a climate tech start up working on making grid connections less of a nightmare for energy asset developers. Grid congestion is the number one bottleneck to net zero, but we don\'t think it has to be this way.I\'m also part of the Centre for AI & Climate, where the mission is to accelerate the use of artificial intelligence to solve energy related challenges.
