As East Coast Practice Leader and Senior Associate Principal in the Project Management team at SOM, Jonathan leads design and development strategy for large-scale mixed-use, commercial, and residential projects across the United States - from New York to Miami.He specializes in navigating complex urban conditions and aligning the priorities of developers, investors, communities, and public agencies to deliver world-class design projects that perform and transform - economically, environmentally, and socially.Jonathan is recognized as one of SOM’s experts on growth and development across the Southeastern United States, where his work is helping to transform underused sites into high-performing destinations and bring new density to transit-oriented districts in cities like Atlanta, Charlotte, and West Palm Beach.In West Palm Beach, Jonathan helped lead 1 Flagler, a next-generation Class A office tower that anchors the city’s skyline and signals the region’s emergence as a global destination for business and investment. His portfolio reflects a wide range of scale and building types, from the adaptive reuse of the James A. Farley Post Office in Manhattan, reimagined as a vibrant mixed-use destination that blends historic character with modern commercial value, to boutique office buildings such as 1245 Broadway and 28th & 7th in New York. In Charlotte, he is collaborating on Gateway Station, a multimodal mixed-use development that reconnects the city’s core through transit, infrastructure, and placemaking. In South Florida, his work includes the Bal Harbour Shops Master Plan, which reimagines one of the country’s most iconic luxury retail destinations, and Rivage Bal Harbour, a coastal luxury residential project that sets a new standard for oceanfront living through timeless design and craftsmanship.Named a Commercial Observer 2022 Young Professional, Jonathan is focused on bridging design, development, and transformation to build resilient, high-value places that stand the test of time.
