Experienced RFID / Electronics / Industrial Controls engineer with 8+ years in the industry. Extensive experience working with industry leaders in RFID technology, and programing plant wide PLC and SCADA systems.I\'m also a Software developer with experience in C#.NET, Windows Mobile, Assembly and C++ with a focus on embedded systems and robotics, particularly ROS / ROS2.At Rovisys:6+ years in plant industrial controls, including entire waste water plants for large cities (up to 90MGD+ peek flows) Deployed and designed cellular RTU networks for entire cities for utilities with best in class security methods.Configured network switch stacks (CISCO iOS) and fiber systems for city wide enterprise networks. Set up and designed vlan trunking and spanning tree systems. Specified configured and deployed dell poweredge servers. Familiar with partitioning and several \"Lights out\" card configurations.Set up ESXI on multi server enterprise networks and preformed VM migrations including quiesed sql server/historian machine movement. Also configured high availability setup.Several RFID projects including UWB RTLS.Worked on controls in numerous markets - Pharmaceutical batch decommissioning / conmissioning. Pharmaceutical packaging line integration. Steel mill SCADA and PLC programing. Oil and gas systems.At Franwell:Worked as lead engineer for a Air Cargo track and trace RTLS RFID solution for tracking all cargo at an item level for a major airline at the startup level. Worked with industry leader Metrc on cannabis seed to sale tracking at the ground startup level. Designed a patent pending cold chain data logging tag and wrist mounted EPC RFID reader with a team of three to initial production - In 1 year.Electrical engineer with experience in RF antenna design and filters (for RFID tags). Has been involved in several projects focusing on writing test-ware and hardware/software integration.Used logic analyzers, network analyzers and LabVIEW equipment to test and qualify a RFID SOIC with a microchip 32bit MCU. Set up test chambers and Pico current power performance monitoring test stands. Wrote a basic OS kernel for a C++ pic 32 controller to interface with a redpine wifi Bluetooth embedded device, and a thing magic RFID reader over SPI. Have set up and debugged low level SPI, I2C CAN, MODBUS and other protocols on embedded systems.At Home: Assist my wife running a Fully automated 3D printer farm and homestead.And, above all else every day I aim to be the best Dad I can.
