Served as mechanical design verification lead for Xbox flagship controllers, special edition/limited edition Xbox products and console projects, leading test planning and spec/technical requirements reviews • Actively sought out mechanical and component design issues/bugs in high volume production XBOX products across entire product life cycles, assisting in meeting reliability requirements for mass production • Performed FA and root cause analysis on mechanical bugs, while interfacing with development and manufacturing teams to drive design and process improvements • Executed various automated mechanical tests using LabView/Python controlled custom applications with 6-Sigma test data trend statistical analysis using MS Excel tools • Point of contact for all CMF focused validation at Xbox • Designed (Solidworks & Creo), assembled and optimized full PLC & LabVIEW controlled precision mechanical test fixture prototypes with variety of pneumatic/stepper motor-controlled features for component qualification and system level design verification of XBOX and Surface products, with use of 3D printers and CNC mill for custom prototype fabrication • Designed, assembled and programmed FANUC robot automated mechanical test systems for high volume mechanical testing and laser scanning analysis • Carried out MSA Gage R&R and used SPC tools to maintain test process quality
