ABOUT JONATHAN JON SARGENT

I am an accomplished executive with extensive experience in R&D, product development, marketing, and strategic planning across both multinational corporations and startups in the fields of green chemistry, biotech, glazing, and advanced materials. I bring deep expertise in glazing and glass technologies—including dynamic glazing, interlayers, and polycarbonate glazing—as well as in B2B business development. I also have R&D experience in polyelectrolytes and other polymers used in biotech applications.Throughout my career, I have held leadership roles such as VP of R&D and Business Development at startups, consultant to the venture capital industry, and business development lead in public-private organizations focused on green chemistry and technology transfer. I have also served in global roles at multinational corporations and held key leadership positions in early-stage companies.My accomplishments include creating company-wide, multi-generational product roadmaps; managing technical teams; launching new ventures and products in the materials space; and commercializing disruptive technologies.
