ABOUT JONATHAN RIMMER

I am an intelligent and disciplined person and I thrive working in a busy environment whether it is working on my own or as part of a team. I enjoy being set new challenges, and learning new skills which I have demonstrated throughout my working career straight after completing my A levels at Merchant Taylors Boys School Crosby. I joined Bachy Soletanche as an engineering apprentice in September 2007, where I studied part time at Bolton University while at the same time as working full time as a trainee engineer, gaining hands on experience whilst studying for professional qualifications. I have worked hard to impress my superiors and have constantly seeked to improve myself and skills. I consider myself a conscientious and hard working person with a determination to succeed.Specialist Estimating Experience - PC requirements, General Civil Engineering/ Groundwork’s, Marine Environments, Structural concrete repair, cathodic protection, bridge bearing replacement, hydro demolition, access solutions, concrete waterproofing systems, bridge joints and car park refurbishment/ waterproofing. Experience in Geotechnical Estimating - Major Projects, CFA, LDA (including support fluid), Driven Pre Cast, Screwsol displacement, Cased CFA (CSP), DWalls, Mini Piling, Various Grouting, Soil Nails, Anchors, Environmental cut off walls and trenchmix.Experience in Geotechnical Operations (Site)- CFA, traditional LDA, Bentonite LDA, Screwsol, Mini Piling, Grouting and Trenchmix.Experience in Geotechnical Design - CFA, LDA and Mini Pile bearing pile and tension pile design in various ground conditions
