Amazon Route 53 provides highly available and scalable Domain Name System (DNS), domain name registration, and health-checking cloud services. It is designed to give developers and businesses an extremely reliable and cost-effective way to route end users to internet applications by translating names like example.com into the numeric IP addresses, such as 192.0.2.1, that computers use to connect to each other- While part of Route 53, I have direct global teams that own DNS services used by Amazon and AWS. We are our own biggest customer- Successfully managed large scale changes and migrations to increase reliability of DNS for AWS- Track record of eliminating DNS risks from AWS DNS services- I own all Route 53 Operations for AWS special regions, such as AWS GovCloud- Accountable for developing large scale automation for building Route 53 services in new AWS regions and partitions.
