Operating as an End Point Assessor for Level 2 Countryside Worker, Level 3 Water Environment Worker and Level 4 Countryside Ranger frameworks. Carrying out the final observation assessment for the apprenticeship, liaising with work placements, conducting the observations and carrying out reporting activities. I am also Deputy Lead Assessor for the Water Environment Worker framework, carrying out quality control assessments on the assessment team.

ABOUT JONATHAN POUNDER

I have 25+ years at working in conservation/ ecology/ heritage/ education/ community engagement through my professional career; with conservation and wildlife being an interest of mine since childhood. I have blended my practical experience and skills to interlink the different areas I work in to compliment and enrich my work across the UK. I have been involved in a range of projects ranging from national infrastructure projects, working in heritage buildings, wind farm developments, protected species work, community engagement and habitat management in Teesside Retail Park, acting as a Clerk of Works for Natural England and offering land management consultancy for the Eden Project.I have a great deal experience working with a range of backgrounds in different educational situations, and specialise in dealing with hard to engage groups. I am an enthusiastic, self-motivated, physically fit and conscientious individual with a positive attitude and a desire to develop my work-related abilities further. I’m very organised, methodical and well-prepared, with a wealth of skills relating to work requiring attention to detail, high levels of accuracy and the ability to work on my own initiative or as part of a team. I have the ability to adapt quickly and plan ahead to be able to succeed in any challenge I am set. I am an enthusiastic, self-motivated, physically fit and conscientious individual with a positive attitude and a desire to develop my work-related abilities further.
