About Jonathan Nuckolls
I am a CompTIA A+, SC-900 and AZ-900 certified IT professional with over seven years of experience in systems administration, desktop support and wireless networking surveying. Currently studying for the ITIL Foundations and CCNA certifications as well and also returning to the University of Memphis to complete my degree(Graduation in Spring 2026). My last position was as a Data Center Operations Sr. Technician/Wireless Engineer at Trace3, a leading IT solutions provider and consulting firm. My mission was to deliver high-quality wireless network design and support to clients across various industries and settings.At Trace3, I was part of a team that assisted in designing a new wireless network at six Methodist LeBonheur hospital campuses, totaling more than four million square feet and over 2,500 Cisco wireless access points. I managed the equipment, positioned the access points, and ran Ekahau software to collect RF data to make sure the design of the network was optimized. I also worked with directors, doctors, and nurses to ensure minimal disruption of their job duties and while we were surveying. In addition, I acted in a customer service role, interacting with patients, families, and staff as necessary. I collaborated with my colleagues to overcome potential obstacles and met project goals and deadlines. I enjoy helping others and seeing the smile on their face when their wireless issues are resolved and their stress is relieved. I am looking for long term opportunities but will work projects as well.
