   With our presence as a global company spanning over 125 hotels, I am fortunate to have the opportunity to work alongside our international teams in standardizing our security procedures and tools, while also providing immediate SOC assistance to our teams and all of their locations as their workday concludesSince our industry is frequently targeted by social engineering attacks, it is my responsibility to develop and maintain an engaging and robust security awareness campaign to keep our employees informed about the latest security threats.In order to uphold governance and compliance standards, I regularly carry out audits every quarter on the IT department, company users, and all systems. I am responsible for developing an annual security calendar that includes activities such as tabletop exercises for disaster recovery, simulations for ransomware and phishing attacks, and quarterly assessments of IT risks, from GDPR to SAQ submission for PCI compliance.I consistently evaluate and update policies, ensuring they are approved and published.By the end of Q4, I have the responsibility of moving all US locations to a new cloud platform for our primary property management system. This will require extensive coordination and collaboration with multiple departments.
