I specialise in defending healthcare professionals in fitness to practise cases, from first contact with a regulator through to hearings, appeals and reviews. My colleagues, also represent individuals in minded to bar proceedings and associated appeals, criminal and inquest matters. Many of the matters I take on are urgent or high risk, often involving interim order hearings or same day instructions. I respond quickly, act decisively and communicate clearly because delay can make all the difference. My clients and instructing insurers know they will get practical, honest and strategic guidance the moment they need it.Before founding Regulation Resolution Solicitors, I served as Head of Prosecutions at the General Dental Council, leading a team of 35 lawyers and paralegals managing more than 400 live cases. That experience gave me deep insight into how regulators build, assess and sometimes overreach in their cases.
