ABOUT JONATHAN MCKEE
I joined McLaughlin & Harvey in 2013 as a Civil Engineer having previously completed two summer placements and one full year placement with the company while studying at Queens University. I graduated from Queens University with a first class honours degree in Civil Engineering in 2012, before completing a Master’s degree in Construction and Project Management, graduating with distinction in 2013. I have gained experience in most areas of civil engineering including heavy civils, flood prevention, piling, road infrastructure, bridge work as well as experience within civil engineering procurement. Over three years of valuable experience within McLaughlin and Harvey has lead to my development of skills within procurement and tender engineering, site engineering and management, survey engineering and application of technical design. On my most recent project, a complex design and build viaduct bridge scheme for Transport Scotland on the A82, within 15 months I progressed from being a Site Civil Engineer to taking on the role of Site Construction and Design Manager.Following the A82 I have now moved into the Civil Engineering Procurement Department at McL & H
