I am currently working for BAE Systems as a HSE Advisor. Supporting the build delivery of ASTUTE class and DREADNAUGHT class Submarines I work closely with the production teams and high risk processes such as welding, gouging, grinding, burning and Heavy lifting operations on a daily basis. Ensuring risk assessments/SSOW are adhered to and work processes are followed. I have a close relationship with senior management and the shop floor operatives to ensure there is a positive attitude towards safety culture. I have my NEBOSH general certificate. I have previously worked within the wind industry working offshore as a level 7 ODI Siemens Technician on the Gwent y Mor site in Mostyn. I have my TSWA and WTSR. Part of my responsibilities were to start and stop the turbines on a daily basis, carrying out appropriate isolations to ensure the safety of my team. I also used LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) procedures for certain tasks. Previously to that I worked as part of the Pre Assembly team working within the Nacelles onshore. I also worked on the MPI Discovery on the London Array site, as part of the installation team for the completion of London Array Wind Farm. I have worked in the past as an Offshore Rigging and Rope Access Technician working as a sub-contractor for Cwind247 Ltd. I have 6 years experience offshore and I have worked on various wind farms throughout the UK. During this time I have worked closely with a range of experienced technicians, riggers and rope access technicians. I have gained many crucial skills and experience within this time period.
